credit transfer program between Ochanomizu University and Hitotsubashi University
Hitotsubashi University has a credit transfer program with four other national universities in the Tama area (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Tokyo Gakugei University, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and the University of Electro-Communications), and two other programs with Tsuda University and Ochanomizu University. These credit transfer programs are designed to promote mutual exchange and provide students with a wider variety of courses.
Applications are accepted twice a year in the spring/summer semester and the autumn/winter semester (excluding credit transfer program with Tsuda University).
Under these credit transfer programs, students can take designated courses in the curriculum offered by the partner university. However, credits can be transferred as long as the total number of credits a student has earned does not exceed 60, including those received from their overseas partner institution while enrolled at Hitotsubashi University (such credits will be counted as those for elective courses among other credits required for graduation). Please make sure to read the Regulations on Domestic and International Exchange Students of Hitotsubashi University.
Students who are sent from Hitotsubashi University to other universities under any of these credit transfer programs are called “transfer students,” while students who come from other universities to Hitotsubashi University are called “Auditor (Non-Degree-Seeking)”.
