Hitotsubashi University and IE University in Spain Sign an Academic and Student Exchange Agreement

On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, Hitotsubashi University entered into an academic and student exchange agreement with IE University in Spain for promoting research cooperation and a student exchange program.

Founded in 1973 in Spain, IE University is a private university under the management of Instituto de Empresa with its campuses in Madrid, capital of Spain; and Segovia, northwest of Madrid. The university is noted for its number of international students from universities in 130 countries, accounting for approximately 75% of all students. IE Business School, one of the world’s top business schools, is well known as the school that introduced entrepreneurship as a core course of its MBA programs for the first time in the world.

Upon this conclusion, both IE University and Hitotsubashi University agree to send 2 students reciprocally every year. They can take a variety of courses in the social sciences, including business, economics, law, and international relations there.
