Academic Year 2017 Graduation Ceremonies

Hitotsubashi University held graduation ceremonies for the academic year 2017 at Kanematsu Auditorium on March 20, 2018. The number of degree recipients was as follows:
 

Undergraduate: 965 students (not including students who graduated in September)

Graduate: Master’s programs: 333 students; professional master’s programs: 231 students; doctoral programs: 54 students;

  • Performance of Ouverture from Partita No.4 in D major BWV828 (J. S. Bach) by Takashi Yamada
  • Degree conferment to student representatives from each faculty and announcement of students with outstanding academic results
  • Address by Koichi Tadenuma, president of Hitotsubashi University
  • Congratulatory address by Kosei Shindo, Representative Director and President, NIPPON STEEL & SUMITOMO METAL CORPORATION
  • Remarks by the representative of degree recipients
  • Singing of the university song
