Academic Year 2016 Entrance Ceremonies
Hitotsubashi University held entrance ceremonies for the academic year 2016 at Kanematsu Auditorium on April 2, 2016. The ceremony for undergraduate students started at 10:00 a.m., and that for graduate students at 14:00 p.m. The number of matriculating students was as follows:
Undergraduate: 1,014 students
Graduate: Master’s programs: 345 students; Doctoral programs: 95 students; Professional school programs: 172 students
Many matriculating students and their families attended the ceremonies.

- Address by Koichi Tadenuma, president of Hitotsubashi University
- Recitation and signing of the student oath by the representative of matriculating?undergraduate students
- Singing of the university song

- Commemorative lecture by Bruce Miller, Australian Ambassador to Japan
Ceremony for Graduate Students
- Opening
- Performance of Waltz, Op.34-1 (Chopin) by Takashi Yamada
- Address by Koichi Tadenuma, president of Hitotsubashi University
- Recitation and signing of the student oath by the representative of matriculating?graduate students
- Closing
