Academic Year 2015 Graduation Ceremonies

Hitotsubashi University held graduation ceremonies for the academic year 2015 at Kanematsu Auditorium on March 18, 2016. The ceremony for undergraduate students started at 10:00 a.m., and that for graduate students at 2:00 p.m. The number of degree recipients was as follows:

 

Undergraduate: 959 students (not including students who graduated in September)

Graduate: Master’s programs: 347 students; professional master’s programs: 225 students;　doctoral programs: 54 students;

• Opening
• Performance of Polonaise in A-flat major, Op. 53 (Chopin) by Takashi Yamada
• Degree conferment to student representatives from each faculty and announcement of students with outstanding academic results
• Address by Koichi Tadenuma, president of Hitotsubashi University
• Remarks by the representative of degree recipients
• Congratulatory address by Tsuyoshi Okamoto, Chairman of the Board of Tokyo Gas Company Limited.
• Singing of the university song
• Closing

• Opening
• Performance of Sonetto 104 del Petrarca (Lizst) by Takashi Yamada
• Degree conferment to the student representatives of master’s degree, professional master’s degree, and doctoral degree recipients, respectively
• Address by Koichi Tadenuma, president of Hitotsubashi University
• Remarks by the representative of master’s degree recipients
• Remarks by the representative of professional master’s degree recipients
• Remarks by the representative of doctoral degree recipients
