We appreciate your understanding and concern for the protection of the human rights and personal information of infected individuals.

We have taken a range of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with government guidelines and other safety standards.
We will continue our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by taking necessary measures based on the latest information and circumstances.

The alert level pursuant to Hitotsubashi University Activity Restrictions Index for the Prevention of the Spread of COVID-19 will be specified at Level 1 from 1st June. All Hitotsubashi University students, faculty and staff are asked to check the latest information on this website, CELS or HWP on a timely basis.

ClassesClasses will be held in person as a general rule, provided that every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection.
Research activitiesResearch activities may be conducted on the university premises, provided that every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection.
Administrative activitiesWork shall be as usual, provided that every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection.
Meetings, etc.Online meetings are encouraged. Meetings may be held in person, provided that every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection.
Access to university premises, gatesAccess by non-university personnel is only permitted when it is necessary for university business and every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection. The gates shall be kept closed and individuals entering the university premises must present his/her ID certificate.
Extracurricular activities by studentsExtracurricular activities are allowed, provided that every measure possible has been taken to prevent the spread of infection. Events and activities involving close contact such as taking meals or lodging together are prohibited.
Business trips, etc.University members are asked to refrain from taking business trips, etc. to or from epidemic areas.
