Welcome Party for new international students held on April 5th

A Welcome Party for new international students was held on April 4th, 2018 at Mercury Hall (7th floor of Mercury Tower). About 250 guests attended the party including new international students, guests from local city halls, Josui-kai, and international volunteer groups as well as President Tadenuma, faculties, staff members, and student tutors from the University.
 
The party began with President Koichi Tadenuma’s opening address, and then Mr. Shoichi Korematsu from Kunitachi City Board of Education gave a congratulatory speech. Then, Ms. Dubnikova Yanna (Faculty of Social Sciences) answered with an impressive speech as an international student representative. Afterwards, a toast was proposed by Mr. Enji Okada from Josuikai. All who attended enjoyed the party in a friendly atmosphere.
 
The party was hosted in English as well as Japanese. Everyone gave generous applause to Ms. Kang Jiyoon (Faculty of Social Sciences) for her great MCing in English.
