Hitotsubashi Achieves the Nation’s Highest Pass Rate on the 2016 National Bar Examination

The Ministry of Justice announced the results of the 2016 National Bar Examination for graduates of law schools on September 6, 2016.

Of the 127 Hitotsubashi University School of Law graduates who took the exam, 63, or 49.61%, of them passed?the highest pass rate of any law school in Japan.

The nationwide pass rate was 22.95% with 6,899 candidates sitting for the exam and only 1,583 of them passing.
