Prof. Lim Jie-Hyun (Professor of Sogang University, Director of Critical Global Studies Institute) title of talk: *Victimhood Nationalism: A Transnational History of World War Memories*
Prof. Lim Jie-Hyun is an internationally known scholar who adopts an innovative perspective of comparative history to discuss a wide range of issues, including global history, Marxism in East Asia and Eastern Europe, socialist societies, cultural history, historical memory, colonialism, and modernity and mass-dictatorship. He has published numerous books on these issues in English, Korean and Japanese. Recently, he has established the “Critical Global Studies Institute” at Sogang University and serves as its director.
