Hitotsubashi University and University of Padua in Italy Sign an Academic and Student Exchange Agreement

On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, Hitotsubashi University and University of Padua in Italy signed an academic and student exchange agreement to promote research cooperation and establish a student exchange program.

 

The University of Padua, founded in 1222 in Italy, is one of the oldest universities in Europe. The university has 32 departments in the natural and social sciences and over 65,000 students, and its research pedigree and education are highly regarded in Italy and abroad. Padua, where the main campus is located, is approximately 35 km west of Venice and is said to be the oldest city in northern Italy. Students comprise one-third of the town’s population of approximately 200,000. The university is committed to international exchanges and offers a wide range of subjects in English.

 

As per this agreement, the University of Padua and Hitotsubashi University agree to send two students to their respective campuses annually.
