President Koichi Tadenuma attended the Second Japan?UK Universities’ Conference for Collaboration in Research and Education

On October 8, 2015, the Second Japan?UK Universities’ Conference for Collaboration in Research and Education, co-organized by Keio University and the British Council, was held at Keio University. Following the success of the first conference, held in London in May 2014, the second conference aimed to further develop collaboration between Japanese and UK universities. Presidents and vice presidents of 32 research universities of Japan and the UK attended it.

At the conference, participating universities presented on and discussed topics related to Japan?UK collaboration in education and research. President Tadenuma presented Hitotsubashi’s efforts to develop global talent through small-group and in-depth seminars, education programs including study abroad, and graduate education for high-level professionals in the session titled “Internationalisation of university organization and campuses: leadership and strategies to develop global talent.”
