¥Deciding to return home (Chiyoda Campus)

¥Decide whether or not to return home after obtaining accurate information, e.g. from the television, radio, or trustworthy news websites, about the operational status of the means of transport between your current location and your home, whether there have been any electrical power cuts, and other disaster-related information for the surrounding area.
¥A guideline for the distance you can walk home during an emergency is 20 km. If the situation is uncertain and you cannot ensure your safety, please do not return home despite the difficult circumstances.
¥At Chiyoda Wardfs disaster evacuation areas (East Garden of the Imperial Palace, Outer Garden of the Imperial Palace, Kitanomaru Park, etc.), you can access information about the opening of temporary accommodation facilities for people unable to return home, the operational status of public transport, etc. via the governmentfs emergency radio system.
¥ You can get tap water, use the toilets, and receive information to support you in getting home from gsupport stations for people returning home in a disasterh (public schools run by Tokyo Metropolitan Government, convenience stores, family restaurants, gas stations, etc.)

If you are unable to return home
Go to your nearest temporary accommodation facility. As well as being provided with water, food, blankets, etc., you can access disaster-related information on the radio, etc.
