In order to apply for the graduate program at Hitotsubashi University as a MEXT scholarship student for the 2012 academic year, you need to be selected as a preliminary candidate by the Japanese Embassy / Consulate General in your country. Submit your completed application form and supporting documents by registered express mail (e.g. EMS, DHL), and make sure to meet the deadline. It is not accepted if you miss the application deadline.

Chinese candidates who are selected as a preliminary candidate by the Japanese Embassy / Consulate General in China can receive "Letter of Acceptance" from a supervisor regardless of the following deadline.

3. *Have your Japanese language teacher or instructor to evaluate your Japanese language proficiency.
   **For those who apply for International Business Strategy, Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, please submit GMAT score instead of Japanese Language Proficiency Evaluation Form B.
4. A set of the photocopies of the documents submitted to the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General
   (description of educational background, certified academic records of the university attended, letter of recommendation from the university attended, and description of the field of study and study program, etc.)
5. The Passing Certificate of the Preliminary Selection Issued by the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General.
   * In case you cannot submit the original one, please explain the specific reason and submit the photocopy.

Notification of Screening Results:
