The government announced the recipients of the 2012 Spring awards of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, and emeritus professor Moriyuki Tajima (formerly Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management) was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon. The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon is an award honoring many years of achievement in education and research and contributions to academia in Japan.
