Professors Uehara (Civil Procedural Law), Matsumoto (Private Law) and Yamamoto (Civil Procedural Law) of the Faculty of Law were awarded the Royal Order of Sahametrei from the Kingdom of Cambodia on January 10.
Receipt of this award reflects the Professors’ major contributions over more than ten years from 1998 to the present concerning their work in support of the development of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s legal system. This work involved on-site seminars and training for the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Private Law and Civil Procedural Law, as well as the drafting and enactment of legislative bills, and promotional activities associated with their enforcement.
