▼Important Notice on the Cancellation of the Graduation Ceremony 2010 for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

My heartfelt sympathies extend to those who have suffered, to those who have lost their lives and their families in the Tohoku Earthquake off the Pacific Coast.

In consideration of the current situation, Hitotsubashi University has decided to cancel the Graduation Ceremony for 2010 Academic Year planned for Thursday, 23rd March, 2011. Many people are still missing and suffering from the unprecedented scale of the earthquakes which still continues to occur. Confusions are caused by unstable power supply and disrupted transportation services and more.

It is regrettable that Hitotsubashi University has been forced to take this decision. However, on our road to recovery, I sincerely hope to reunite with our students at an appropriate time and place.
