The Hitotsubashi University—Bergé International Talent Programme is introduced at the 26th Japan–Spain Joint Business Conference

Mr. Joaquín Eulate, Corporate Director of Bergé y Cía, and Professor Jin Abe, Director of the Center for Global Education, gave a joint presentation on the positive influence of the Bergé International Talent Programme (BITP), sponsored by Bergé y Cía for Hitotsubashi University students. Their presentation was a part of the 26th Japan–Spain Joint Business Conference, which was conducted at the Imperial Hotel in Chiyoda, Tokyo on April 4, 2017. The conference was graced by the presence of His Majesty King Felipe VI.

Bergé y Cía (Madrid, Spain), Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo, Japan), and Chung-Aug University (Seoul, Korea) have forged a partnership to implement the BITP, which has provided practical business training and cross-cultural experiences to nearly 100 university students since 2008. The BITP has been underwritten by generous and kind corporate financial support from Bergé y Cía.

Former BITP participants and current students attended the conference and had the privilege of engaging in conversation with King Felipe VI during the coffee break. Hitotsubashi University wishes to express its deepest gratitude to Bergé y Cía for its invaluable collaboration over the past nine years and its commitment to continuing the development of talented university students through the BITP.
